A classical concert experience for families with babies under 15 months
Baby on Board Recitals is a live classical music concert series designed for grown-ups with their little ones – a welcoming space to relax, listen and enjoy beautiful music together. Founded by Dr Beth Gallimore Johnson, a classically trained pianist and mental health researcher, our concerts provide a rare opportunity for parents and carers to enjoy beautiful high-quality live music in a relaxed, baby-friendly setting.
Whether classical music is your passion or something completely new, everyone is welcome – including Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and caregivers of all kinds. Expectant parents are also invited to join us and experience the joy of live music before their little one arrives.
Our concerts are thoughtfully designed to be enjoyable for the grown-ups and around the realities of life with a baby. With mats and soft toys provided, feeding, wriggling, moving around and tears are all part of the experience – so you can settle in, enjoy the music, and let your little one experience it in their own way.
NEW FAMILY CHRISTMAS CONCERT!
Our New Family Christmas Concert brings the joy of live classical music to children aged 3+ and their grown-ups, with engaging Christmas-themed programmes designed to spark curiosity, imagination and a love of music.
Younger siblings are very welcome too — because we know family life doesn’t always fit neatly into age brackets!
